Fees explained
You pay our fee, which is built into the rate, and the network fees for collecting your deposit and sending your payout. The swap form shows both before you send.
Updated
Every swap has two costs, and the swap form shows both before you send anything. The amount you receive already has them taken off.
Our fee (the spread)
Our fee is built into the rate: it is the difference between the market rate and the rate we give you, also called the spread. It depends on the pair:
- 0.3% to move the same stablecoin between networks, for example USDT on Tron to USDT on BNB Smart Chain.
- 0.5% between two different stablecoins, for example USDT to USDC.
- 1.5% between major coins, such as BTC, ETH, SOL and USDT.
- 2% for other coins.
A fixed rate adds 0.3%, because we carry the price risk while you send. When a coin's price has moved by more than 1% in the last hour, we add up to 0.6%; the full amount applies from a 5% move.
Small swaps pay at least $0.50, but never more than 5% of the swap. While a network your swap uses is congested (its fees at least twice their usual level), we add 0.1% to 0.5%, never more than $10 on one swap. Our fee can also move by up to 0.2% either way, depending on how much of the two coins we hold. The swap form always shows the final rate before you send.
Network fees
Moving coins costs a network fee, and you pay two of them: the fee to collect your deposit from its one-time address, and the fee to send your payout. The swap form shows them in dollars and in the coin you receive. They do not grow with the size of your swap.
Because network fees are the same for a small swap as for a large one, each pair has a minimum: 6 times its network fees, and for most coins never less than $10.
Swaps through partner apps
If you swap through another app that uses our API, that app may add its own commission of up to 2%. It is included in the rate and listed in the fee breakdown.
Refunds
A refund we caused (we paused a coin, had no usable price, or could not send your payout) costs only the network fee for sending the coins back. A refund you caused (an amount outside the limits, a late or wrong fixed-rate deposit, a check you did not finish) also pays the network fee for collecting the deposit and a handling fee of 1% of the deposit: at least $1, at most $25, and never more than half of what is left. More in refunds and the refund address.
Nothing else
There are no sign-up or deposit fees. Each pair page shows the current fee and network fees for that pair.
