What the bot can do
Follow a swap
Tap Get updates on Telegram on your order page, or send /follow with the order id. You get a message when your deposit is seen, confirmed, exchanged and paid out, and if a swap is held or refunded.
Price alerts
One message when a rate goes above or below a number you choose. Set one in the chat with /alert, or on the price alerts page.
Rates
/rate BTC ETH shows the variable rate you would get here right now, after our spread and before network fees.
Plan a swap
/shift asks for the coins, the amount and your addresses, checks the addresses, then gives you a link that opens the swap on this website with the coins and amount filled in.
What it does not do
- It does not create swaps or hold coins. Swaps are created only on this website, because the rules for your country depend on where you connect from, and a bot cannot see that.
- It never asks for private keys, recovery phrases, passwords or payments. Anyone who does is not us.
- It only writes to you after you press Start, and only about orders you follow and alerts you set. Send /stop to pause all messages and /resume to turn them back on.
- Rates in the chat are a guide. The website shows the exact amount, with network fees, before you send coins.
- Messages can arrive a few seconds late, because Telegram limits how fast bots may send.

What the bot keeps
Your Telegram chat id, username and language, the orders you follow and your price alerts. While you plan a swap with /shift, the coins, the amount and the addresses you type are kept until you finish, or for 30 minutes after your last answer, then deleted. Finished alerts are deleted after 30 days.
Anyone who has an order id can see that order's status, on the website or in the bot, so share order links only with people you trust. When the bot shows an order, it leaves out the addresses and the private order key.
