If a swap on the swap form does not complete
A route either completes your swap or returns the coins, and Plaxswap takes no fee. Where the coins go depends on how you paid.
Updated
A route either completes your swap or, if it cannot deliver at least the minimum it showed, cancels the swap or sends the coins back. Plaxswap takes no fee on a refund. Where the coins go depends on how you paid:
- From your connected wallet, on one network. The swap either completes or the network cancels it. Your coins stay in your wallet; only the network fee is used.
- From your connected wallet, to another network. If the route cannot finish, for example a LI.FI bridge or NEAR Intents, it returns the coins to your wallet. Check the transaction in the network's explorer.
- Sent to a NEAR Intents deposit address. The coins go back to the refund address you gave.
- Sent to a Relay deposit address on Bitcoin, Solana or Tron. The coins go back to the refund address you gave.
- Sent to a Relay deposit address starting with 0x. Relay returns the coins to the wallet that sent them.
Sent from an exchange
Relay cannot return coins to an exchange account. If you sent from an exchange to a Relay deposit address starting with 0x and the swap cannot be completed, the coins go to a wallet of Plaxswap's instead. This is the only case where Plaxswap receives your coins.
Getting coins back from this case
Mistakes that cannot be undone
- Coins sent to a deposit address on another network, or another coin, cannot be recovered.
- A deposit without the memo or tag shown on the swap page cannot be matched to the swap.
- A NEAR Intents deposit address is valid for one hour. Send exactly the amount shown, once.
Getting help
Contact support with your swap page link or, for a swap from a connected wallet, the transaction id. Plaxswap does not run the routes, so it cannot cancel or reverse a swap that a route has already carried out.
