The Plaxswap Wallet

A self-custody wallet in your browser. Your keys stay on your device, Plaxswap takes no fee and cannot recover your recovery phrase.

Updated

The Plaxswap Wallet is a self-custody wallet. Open it at plaxswap.com/wallet in your browser. Create a new 12 or 24-word recovery phrase, or import the phrase of another wallet app, such as Trust Wallet or MetaMask.

Your keys stay with you

  • Your recovery phrase and keys are made and kept in your browser or on your phone. Plaxswap never receives them and cannot move your coins.
  • The password you set protects the wallet on that device. It does not replace the recovery phrase.
  • Plaxswap cannot see, recover or reset your recovery phrase. If you lose it, and the browser data is cleared or the phone is lost, nobody can bring the wallet back.
  • With the phrase you can also restore the wallet in another wallet app that uses the same standard (BIP39).

Writing down the recovery phrase

  • Write the words on paper, in order, and keep the paper somewhere private.
  • A browser cannot block screenshots or screen sharing. Stop any screen sharing before you show the phrase, and do not take a screenshot. The app blocks screenshots on that screen.
  • Do not keep the phrase in cloud notes, photos or messages.
  • Anyone who has the phrase controls your coins. Plaxswap will never ask for it.

Fees

Plaxswap takes no fee for receiving, sending or swapping in the wallet. Swaps go straight from your wallet to swap services such as KyberSwap, LI.FI and NEAR Intents, which keep their own fee, shown on each route. Network fees are paid from your wallet in the network's own coin, and the wallet shows them before you send. See the fees page.

Transactions are final

What you send from the wallet goes straight to the network. It is not an order and has no order number, and Plaxswap cannot stop or reverse it. Check the address and the network before you confirm.
